This is how it's done, New Mexico style!

This is what a sudden fierce rain storm looks like in the dry land of New Mexico! The first picture of the stream is not a stream at all. It's a dry wash just for times like these. I pulled over to watch this awe inspiring force of nature.
I took these pictures a little less than 5 minutes after it had started raining!!!
There was so much water on the road that the cars coming around the corner in front of us were sliding all over the place. It was very scary to see a pick up truck and camper hydroplaning right towards you! With some luck and a lot of prayers all vehicles managed to stay on the road and no one was hurt.

I gave in and just gave the glum one a swift kick in the pants and now he's havin fun!!!

It is getting increasingly difficult to live with one that is so glum. Especially when the glum one, knows not, how to have any fun!

Meet Minion

She is definitely Mommy's little Minion. Yes, that is a leash! She loves going bye, bye. She has come in and totally taken over the roost!

Where they go...I will follow

Why in life, do I often have the sensation that I am on one big Ferris wheel ride? Always spinning round and round, repeating many of the same actions daily, even hourly. Laundry, cooking, cleaning, fighting, working, sleeping, even loving. Is this ride spinning me down to some deep, dark abysmal place, where actions and feelings tend to become monotonous and verbose? I pray not! I pray to my Lord that I am on his continual ride of learning. I may never step off of this ride, but I might from time to time, forget why I am on it. The one great thing about the Ferris wheel is that it forms a circle, one that can always rotate, bringing me home to my Savior at any time.
