It is getting increasingly difficult to live with one that is so glum. Especially when the glum one, knows not, how to have any fun!

Meet Minion

She is definitely Mommy's little Minion. Yes, that is a leash! She loves going bye, bye. She has come in and totally taken over the roost!

Why in life, do I often have the sensation that I am on one big Ferris wheel ride? Always spinning round and round, repeating many of the same actions daily, even hourly. Laundry, cooking, cleaning, fighting, working, sleeping, even loving. Is this ride spinning me down to some deep, dark abysmal place, where actions and feelings tend to become monotonous and verbose? I pray not! I pray to my Lord that I am on his continual ride of learning. I may never step off of this ride, but I might from time to time, forget why I am on it. The one great thing about the Ferris wheel is that it forms a circle, one that can always rotate, bringing me home to my Savior at any time.

There are pictures I took at the resturant that my wonderful kids took me to for Mother's day. The last one, my son set up all by himself. Kids can be so creative!

Lost

My family recently moved from Idaho to New Mexico. Talk about culture shock! I just got my internet back after almost a month with out it!!! Things are SO way different. I will try to blog more as soon as I can. Right now it's all about trying to get settled and adjusting.

Pancakes and Prayers

This evening my kids and I made up a batch of apple cinnamon pancake snackers (mini cakes) and delivered them to a couple of families that we are really going to miss when we leave. We are moving about a 1000 miles away! Below is the message we shared with them when we made our deliveries. We each had our lines to read, but my daughter had to take over for me when I choked up!
The bible tells us that faith is to hope for things which are not seen, but which are true. That means to believe in something that we can't see.
Our hearts tell us that our faith in God is true and right.
Our hearts also tell us to have faith in many different things through out our lives.
Friendship is something we can't see, but also believe in.
Our God is a kind and loving God, and we believe that he gave us friendship to better our lives.
We find love, joy, and peace in our friendships.
While our friendship with you may change over time, it will always be there.
Something we can't see, but will hold dear to our hearts forever.

Did you notice something funny about the bad day posts below??? I was finally done and thought it best to view for safe keeping. When having this kind of a day, don't EVER go back to double check as caution guides us to do. It will only make you want to pull out your hair because, it will be inevitable that you will find a mistake or two or many. And because it is that kind of day, it will only be messed up further by tyring to fix it. Just back away!

The posts are in the wrong order! They go from last to first!!!

Have a good one!

DONE! Don't ask any more from me, for the day is officially over! Besides, my jaw really hurts from clenching it, so as not to belittle the computer. It is time for me to crawl into the safety of my covers and say my prayers, it's obvious that I really need to! Big heavy SIGH. I am VERY thankful that this day is over!!
I think I FINALLY got figured it out! Yeah me! Now that I am almost done doing it the hard way!

These are the felt like this...
But got this....
pictures. In separate posts, with no words between the pictures or any brilliant descriptions! All because it is still...ONE OF THOSE DAYS!

Have you ever had one of those days? Of course you have, you're human! You know what I am talking about. The kind of day that should have just passed you right on by. The kind of day that just makes you want to scream, shout, stomp, and cry all at the same time.

The kind of day when you felt like this...

But you would have preferred this....

WELL, that is exactly how my day was and evidently still is, as I can't even put the pictures on this post in the way I want!!!!
(Please envision me stomping my foot and having a tissy!)
Definitely time to go to bed and close the door on this day!
